Our volunteers deliver much more than a meal! They also deliver smiles and much-needed safety checks to our neighbors in need.
The application takes about 10- 15 minutes to fill out. You will receive an email follow-up in 2-3 business days once your application and all required documents have been received.
At that time you can sign up for one of our Zoom trainings held each Tuesday at 11am or Thursday at 1pm.

Volunteering for Meals on Wheels Central Texas provides a golden opportunity to directly help individuals in your community. Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization, helping us serve over 5,000 seniors in Central Texas through our life-sustaining programs.
In addition to bringing food and friendship to seniors in your community through lunch time meal-delivery, there are many other ways to serve the seniors and adults with disabilities in Greater Austin. From providing grocery shopping assistance, to delivering pet food to seniors’ furry friends, we have weekday and weekend volunteer opportunities that are flexible and can fit into your schedule. Please note, we do not provide hours for court appointed community service.
